Studio 3A West in 30 Rockefeller Plaza has tons of cool stuff.

One thing it doesn’t have – a window.

Building management wasn’t keen on my original idea to demolish a wall.

So we did the next best thing – we made up a view of our own.

Thanks to a team effort with NBC News Artworks and Studio Production, we transformed our studio’s nook into a bright and airy space, featuring floor-to-ceiling virtual windows using our LED video walls.

Now, it’s filled with light – infusing the space with color, and our interviews with energy.

A breath of fresh air, wouldn’t you say?
